Full Moon on the Jersey Turnpike

Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong on our 18-hour round trip research jaunt to Salem, Massachusetts this week. I swear to you, every single piece of electronics I touched went haywire. Cameras with new batteries had no juice. The Magellan that had served us honorably and well sent us to the Jersey Turnpike. The Flip camera refused to shut down. And yes, I was involved in each of the above mishaps.

Welcome to April: month of dead electronics chez Bretton.

Hope this makes you laugh!

That would be because Mercury is Retrograde until May 11th, and has been since mid-April. So if it makes you feel any better, you're not the only one being afflicted with wonky electronics :-)

Shifra, thanks! I usually keep a wary eye on Mercury but I've been so crazed with deadline psychosis I lost track. Now all we have to do is survive until May 11th...

That reminded about the story that Oprah bought Stedman a nav system and he hated it, and refused to use it. When she asked what the problem with it was, he replied, "What does SHE know?!" You crack me up.
